  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons sea salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon pickling spice, homemade or store-bought
  • 1/2 teaspoon whole allspice berries
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppercorns
