Fermented Garlic Honey

Description

I would consider myself a beginner when it comes to fermenting. I’ve messed around with a few experiments, but I’m not one to have bubbling jars on my kitchen shelf.

Ingredients:

  • 15 to 20 cloves of garlic (about 2 heads), peeled (see recipe note)
  • 1 1/2 cups raw honey (see recipe note)
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
