Buckwheat Waffles

Description

Naturally gluten-free, easy to make, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups buckwheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch kosher salt
  • Pinch cinnamon
  • 4 egg whites (from large eggs)
  • 2 egg yolks (from large eggs)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
  • Extra pats butter, for serving
  • Heated maple syrup, for serving
  • Berries, for serving
