Description
No need to rush around on Thanksgiving or Christmas.
Ingredients:
3 pounds turkey drumsticks and/or wings
2 medium carrots, cut into 2-inch lengths (about 1 cup)
2 stalks celery, cut into 2-inch lengths (about 2/3 cup)
6 cloves garlic
6 sprigs fresh thyme
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 bay leaf
1 large yellow onion, chopped (2 cups)
4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
2 cups cold water
1 cup dry white wine
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
1 to 2 teaspoons Maggi Seasoning, as needed
1/2 teaspoon sea salt, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
